Cole-Dike Historical Sign Dedication

On Monday, September 19, 2016, a dedication ceremony was held in Elm Valley where a sign was installed that is easily visible from Route 417. The sign designating the Cole-Dike Cemetery, Allegany's oldest cemetery (1798), was obtained through a grant from the William Pomeroy Foundation of Syracuse, after much research to support the grant application.
